I trained for the Diploma in Beauty Therapy over 2 years at the Central College of Commerce in Glasgow. Having worked in the industry for a further two years in Stornoway I made the decision to open Hebrides Harmony. I ensure customers overall experiences in their chosen treatments are of a very high and satisfactory standard. Please offer any suggestions on how to improve this service or state any treatments that you would be interested in booking that I'm not currently offering.

Qualifications

HND Beauty Therapist, Certificates in Hot Stone massage, Ear Candling, Babor facials and body treatments.

A break down of the HND qualification:

I'm currently working towards a Diploma in creative writing in my spare time and intend to turn my hand to writing about beauty as well as practising it once this is completed. I write a monthly beauty column in the local magazine Events that advises and gives information on various topics in the beauty industry.

Hygiene and additional info:

All treatments are carried out in a thoroughly hygienic manner. All towels are washed after every treatment as well as all used equipment being wiped down with surgical spirit, and in all manicures and pedicures a new nail file or foot file is used for each client.

Clients booking longer treatments (e.g. facials and massages) can relax in knowing that treatments will never be cut short (there really is nothing more frustrating!) and that each treatment will be treated with patience and care - I arrange my working day in such a way that this is always ensured.
